Friends of Leighton Linslade in Bloom

The Friends of Leighton Linslade in Bloom are always pleased to welcome new volunteers.

With community gardening it’s clear that when you give up a small part of your time to help develop our gardens, the rewards can be endless – the outdoors and the fresh air, the social contact and your health / well-being are the most important.

As a small group of volunteers, we nurture and maintain three Community Gardens in the Town at Linslade Recreation Ground (near St Barnabas Church), Pages Park (near the Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway) and North Street (at the roundabout). In addition, we have an allotment and polytunnel at Alwins Field in Linslade, where plants are raised and stored before planting in our gardens.
